The badge earner had a chance to network by taking a proactive stance and making the most of such an opportunity. A person could take the following actions during a networking session:
- Action 1: Networking Speed Chat - introducing self and their organisation’s work to 3 other participants
- Action 2: Find Your Connection - finding 2-3 people whose youth work has common themes or potential collaboration points
- Action 3: Partner Pitch Challenge - in groups of 3, each person had 1 minute to pitch their youth work and what kind of partners they are looking for.
- Action 4: Collaboration Map - in small groups (4-5 people), created a quick visual map showing how their organisations can be interconnected in a project or initiative.
- Action 5: Shared Commitment - committed to one follow-up action with at least 3 other participants they connected with today.
Activity content and badge issuing criteria aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for youth workers to work internationally.
